Anti-Dengue Fogging at Fortezza

Due to the dreaded Dengue outbreak at some areas in Laguna particularly in San Pedro and in some areas in Cabuyao, a mosquito fogging operation was initiated at Fortezza last Saturday, February 03, 2007. The said activity was initiated by Ms. Marina 'Mommy' Beltran, FHOAI's overall adviser, with the assistance of Councilor Sonny Aguillo of Cabuyao and Mr. Jomi Tan of Crown Asia,

"There is a danger of Dengue outbreaks anywhere and preventing it from wrecking havoc in Fortezza is a high priority of FHOAI..." quoting 'mommy' during the fogging operation.

FHOAI BOD plans this fogging operation periodically to at least minimize, if not eliminate, the chances of Dengue outbreak at Fortezza.

Last year, there were more than 10 cases of Dengue in Cabuyao and at least one case was recorded in the nearby village.

FHOAI BOD issues resolution on Clearance for Home Improvement

In the Board meeting last January 27, 2007 at Ms. Ador's residence, the BOD unanimously agreed on the issuance of clearance to homeowners who wish to apply Home Improvement from Crown Asia. This is in response to the need of the Association to collect the monthly fees from the homeowners.

"This is not to take away the rights of the Homeowners to develop their own property, however, this is for the benefit of the Association as well. The organization cannot move on without funds." Mr. Trinos said.

Before, the homeowner gets nod from Crown Asia for their home improvement with a issuance of a bond. This time, the homeowner needs to get clearance from the Association as a pre-requisite to Home Improvement application.

FHOAI BOD issues resolutions on Garbage Disposal

The Board of Directors of Fortezza Homeowners' Association, Inc. wish to announce that effective February 1, 2007, the homeowners of Fortezza are no longer required to pay garbage collection dues to the garbage collectors.

This is in reference to the Board Resolution Nos. 07-003 and 07-004 on the need to have an organized garbage collection inside the community. This is also a response to a growing number of concerns from the homeowners in the need for a monthly payment of the garbage hauling instead of having to pay every week by each homeowner. The Association pays PhP 600.00 as monthly garbage hauling fee.

"With the resolutions, not only that the homeowner saves at least P60.00 of monthly charges , the Association in effect saves at least PhP 3600.00 monthly for such charges." citing Ms. Jaie Ador during the BOD meeting held at her residence last Saturday, January 27, 2007.
